While waiting for my food in Koto Restaurant in Kathmandu I realized my affiliation with Japanese Cuisine. Since childhood my craving for Japanese food has formed into an obsession in adulthood. And as I indulge myself into the food, I find tranquility. Though the artwork dictates a spiritual atmosphere, the viewer must not be mistaken by representation of Buddhism in this piece but rather find a correlation of Koto with my personal sentiment for Japanese cuisine. |
